350 years ago, Kikumasamune began brewing sake in the Hyogo region. Since then, their name has been synonymous with serious, dry sake. This rice is polished down to 70% and combined with a newly developed yeast strain giving it beautiful aromas of fruit and white flowers and ripe, round flavors of banana, cantaloupe, and honey-crisp apples with rich umami undertones. This sake is best enjoyed chilled and paired with Tempura fried vegetables, Tortas, or Pulled Pork Sliders with spicy pickles.
