Producer's Notes

Domaine Calvados Groult owes its fame to the use of three very old stills heated by wood fire to perform a double distillation of cider.  

This traditional method thus guarantees an authentic production of Calvados AOC Pays d'Auge.  

Calvados is then aged in oak barrels, where it acquires essential elements, because of its prolonged contact with wood.  

After 12 years of aging, this Pays d'Auge Calvados offers a perfect compromise between young eaux-de-vie with a fruity taste and marked floral side and old calvados with aromas much more complex and powerful.
