In 1996, Yves Lambert embarked on a significant life change, founding his estate upon returning to his homeland. By 2005, Arnaud Lambert, his son, fresh from viticulture school, joined forces with his father, eventually taking the helm solo in 2010. Achieving organic certification in 2009, the estate swiftly set itself apart in a region typically dominated by one or two cuvée productions. Arnaud's approach to distinguishing the estate's varied terroirs includes tailoring aging processes (he works with several coopers such as Atelier Centre France, Darnajou, François Frères and Dussiaux), cultivating indigenous yeasts from over 10 estate plots and using pied de cuves to ensure a vigorous and clean start to fermentation. This method involves fermenting a small batch of grapes ahead of time, which is then added to the vat. Additionally, he avoids cold pre-fermentation maceration and sulfur use during vinification and aging processes. As a result, the estate's wines are characterized by their purity, tension and precision, exhibiting a freshness that marks a departure from the heavier ripeness of past years.

Aromas of pear, herbs, white pepper and spices preface the 2022 Midi, a medium-bodied, satiny and pure wine that’s precise, tense and saline with a long, delicate finish. Crafted from vines planted in the commune of Brézé, on sandy, clay soils facing southeast, it was matured only in steel tanks.
