The 2019 finishes wickedly fresh with a reverberation of mouthwatering tension and flourish of inner sweetness to balance. This varietal Nerello Cappuccio is an absolute joy to taste, as it transports me to a place that’s somewhere between northern Rhone Syrah and Friuli Schioppettino. Lovers of Etna owe it to themselves to check it out. It hails from vines planted at 1000 meters, and it is vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks.
