Tasting Notes: A saturated medium ruby in the glass with pink and purple on the edge and excellent concentration. The nose is wild and alive with rose hips, wild flowers, red and black forest berries, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, tangerine zest, dried pine needles, tea leaf and moss. The palate is bright with balancing acidity against the sapid texture and richness of the fruits, assuring a long life ahead. Pomegranate, sandalwood, rooibos tea, wet underbrush, mushroom and ferns all emerge here to compliment the ripe fruit. Wild and earthy with sweet fruit and an enchanting perfume that is not to be missed! Drink Now to 2032. Highly recommended. - Drink Better with Tedder
This wine unfolds its tale with an aromatic prelude of dried roses, coriander and muddled raspberry. Venture deeper into the glass and the story darkens, revealing a core of a forest at dusk. Candied bacon, anise and strawberry guava parade across the palate with a savory sweetness. A narrative of flavors, each sip is a chapter in its own right, a story that promises to linger after the curtain falls, leaving you yearning for just one more taste of its enchanting story.
Polished and handsomely structured, with expressive raspberry and tart cherry flavors that take on forest floor, dusky spice and orange peel accents as this builds complexity and richness toward refined tannins.
If this is how they grow Pinot Noir down on the farm, then farm living is the life for me. I love this wine’s bright, fresh raspberry popsicle, lilac and watermelon aromas. The juicy and medium-bodied palate shows off darker raspberry fruit mixed with black-tea and roasted pork-shoulder flavors—just don’t tell the pig on the label.
