This is decidedly riper with its aromas of poached plum, mocha, black cherry liqueur and anise. The delicious middle weight flavors possess very good energy and richness while exhibiting fine length on the dusty bitter cherry pit-inflected finale. This mouthcoating effort should be approachable young but age well too over the mid-term.
This red offers a mix of fruit and savory elements, with cherry and plum flavors mingling with earth, sandalwood and vegetal notes. Broad, with a well-integrated structure, fresh acidity and a mineral essence lingering on the aftertaste. Best from 2026 through 2042. 1,500 cases imported.
A medium to full-bodied, velvety wine evocative of cherries, smoky plums, spices and dark chocolate. Charming and perfumed, it's an elegant wine that gets my nod as the finest Beaune du Château for some time.
