Vinous: 90 Points

The 2019 Friulano is dusty and perfumed, with peach and hints of mango giving way to exotic florals and sweet spice. It’s silky, round and unexpectedly rich in character, as ripe orchard fruits and confectionery custards are kept in motion by brisk acidity. The finish is medium in length and fresh, leaving candied lime and a salty mineral twang to linger. I can’t fault the 2019 for its supreme balance and pleasure factor, but I find myself craving more depth.
