Our 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested from our hillside vineyards after a growing season marked by late spring rain during bloom that interrupted the normal flowering process. The result was extremely low yields of fruit that led to a notably poignant expression of a truly varietaly correct wine. It is saturated in a deep garnet color, and the nose presents notes of cherry, blackberry, and pepper. Great acidity with polished tannins and complexity, the palate is delighted by dark red fruit flavors and a smooth, balanced fonish.

The grapes for all Jarvis wines are grown on hillside vineyards, which were originally planted in 1986. The winery and vineyards are located in the Vaca mountain range, about 1,000 feet above the valley floor and four miles east of the city of Napa. The cool mountain growing region provides moderate temperatures for optimum ripening of the grapes.
