The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is outrageously beautiful right out of the gate. A wine of aromatic breadth and real presence, the 2019 possesses magnificent depth and tons of pure pedigree. Sweet red cherry, dried herbs, blood orange, menthol and mocha all build effortlessly over time. This explosive, dense Cabernet is a real head-turner. What a wine!

A classic Mountain Cabernet, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder has lots of brambly, mulberry, blueberry, resinous herb, and floral notes as well as full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It shows the texture and opulence of the vintage yet still brings plenty of mountain tannins and structure. Give it a few years.

O'Shaughnessy's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is 100% Cabernet from a single vineyard. Gentle herbal notes of sage and bay leaf lead into black cherries and cassis on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate shows more structure and tannin than the winery's Howell Mountain bottling but also more length and a promising, silky finish.

Aromas of black cherries and spiced plums with baking spices, toasted cedar and dark chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins. Shows depth and complexity. Spicy and velvety with a juicy, dark-fruited finish. A little chewy at the end. Better from 2025.
