Spiced orchard fruits, candied lemon zest, and sappy herb notes all emerge from the 2022 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County, a juicy, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced Chardonnay with tons to love. It's not over-the-top rich or too serious, but it has terrific purity and I'd be thrilled to drink a bottle.

Vinous: 90 Points

The 2022 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County) is a pretty, aromatic wine with lovely perfume. White orchard fruit, lime and citrus are nicely lifted. There's terrific energy and fine balance here. Partial aging in steel keeps the flavors vibrant.
