The Platt Vineyard perches above the fog line just one mile from the Pacific Ocean, where cool daytime temperatures challenge Wente clone Chardonnay vines to ripen. The petite clusters and diminutive berries that result ferment slowly into a vibrant, focused wine with classic European style.

The 2019 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard is a gorgeous wine from this famed Sonoma Coast site. Rich and textured in feel, the Platt Chardonnay is super elegant. Lemon confit, white flowers, mint and almond all grace this exquisite Chardonnay from Purlieu. The Platt was aged in a combination of equal parts stainless steel, neutral oak and new oak.
