Cherry stones, plums and button mushrooms on the nose. Some lemon peel, too. Juicy and medium-bodied with fine tannins and a zesty finish. Drink now. Screw cap.

Vinous: 90 Points

Flinty crushed stone and brown spice give way to dried black cherries as the 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley opens in the glass. This is round in feel with peppery wild berries and cooling acidity. It finishes with medium length and a primary concentration as violet and lavender tones slowly fade.
