As a successor to Shizuoka Distillery's third product, ``Contact S'', it is a blend of unblended spirits from distillers W and K. The different characteristics of the original sake from the two distillers are harmonized to create Shizuoka Distillery's unique flavor.

At Shizuoka Distillery, we use two first-run distillers, K and W, to produce two types of unprocessed sake with different characteristics. The ``S Series'' is a single malt that is a blend of both types of whiskey.

The "S" in the product name not only indicates that it is the successor to Contact S, but also stands for Shizuoka, Spirits, Single Malt, and Sphere.

“United” signifies further evolution, with the two spirits encountered in “Contact” harmonizing and merging.

Its smooth and well-balanced taste can be compared to a sphere.
The fruity and light spirit from the steam-heated distiller K forms the top half of the ball, while the heavy and powerful spirit from the wood-fired distiller W supports the bottom half.

The raw materials are Japanese barley malt as the core, as well as Scottish non-peated malt, peated malt, and beer malt.

The aging barrels we use are primarily first-fill bourbon barrels, as well as wine barrels.

From now on, Shizuoka Distillery's main product will be the ``S Series,'' which is a skillful combination of the unblended spirits from these two distillers.

This "United S First Edition" is the memorable first edition. Please try it as a benchmark for single malt Shizuoka.
