Moderate wood is present on the mildly exotic and spicy aromas of tidal pool, passion fruit, apricot and peach. There is once again fine volume to the solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that offer fine persistence on the slightly warm finish. This attractive effort will also need a few years of patience in order to develop more depth, but it does appear promising.

Vinous: 93 Points

The 2019 Chablis Moutonne Grand Cru has a well-defined, focused bouquet of citrus peel, orchard fruit and gunflint scents and a very faint smoky aroma. The palate is well-defined with a keen line of acidity, good depth, a patina of clear honey and a lovely, lightly spiced finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent. -- Neal Martin
