The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Clajeux Vineyard is a powerful, dense Chalk Hill wine. Dark fruit, dried herbs, white pepper and blood orange lend quite a bit of complexity. The 2019 has terrific freshness and energy to play off a core of red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender and blood orange. The purity of the flavors is terrific. The tannins are there, but they are beautifully woven into the wine's fabric.
