An equally fresh if less expressive nose combines perfumed and really very pretty notes of earth, violet and dark currant. There is a beguiling richness to the nicely voluminous and caressing medium weight flavors that exude evident salinity on the sneaky long and youthfully austere finale. This too is worth considering.
From a site that invariably produces supple, charming, gourmand wines, the 2021 Fixin Les Crais delivers notes of plums, berries, spices and smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate. It's a lovely wine that transcends stereotypes of firm, tannic Fixin.
