Bobar Chardonnay is such a distinct expression of this Yarra Valley staple; tasty, powerful and rich, restrained, refreshing and mineral all at once.
Medium straw colour. The aroma is refined, restrained, complex, and vast! Such a harmonious counterplay of sweet and savoury elements. Green figs, wet pebbles, white nectarine, sourdough and apple Danish, thyme and preserved lemon.
The palate is fresh, juicy and intense with a taut structure. It feels cool and fresh but savoury and nourishing. This is a wonderful Bobar Chardonnay that will age with grace.
