The 2022 Pinot Noir Sin Azufre hails from Mainqué in Río Negro and was fermented 1/3 in amphorae, 1/3 in concrete vats and 1/3 in oak barrels, with no addition of sulfur. A bright, ruby-hued red wine, the herb-tinged nose features notes of damp earth, sweet and sour cherry and hints of cinnamon. Dry, lean and taut due to the 50% whole cluster inclusion, the 2021 is light, delicate and energetic in the mouth. This is a tasty, distinctive Pinot with great purity.
