This shows some very fresh, pretty fruit with blackberry and cherry aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Citrus undertones. Drink after 2023.

The 2019 Fourcas Dupré has an attractive nose with buoyant red berry fruit, bing cherry, rose petal and forest floor scents, showing more vivacity than the Fourcas Hosten alongside. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fresh acidity, quite sweet towards the pliant finish that feels succulent. Probably early drinking compared to others, though it has the substance to last.

The 2019 Fourcas-Dupré continues to show well, unwinding in the glass with aromas of cassis, sweet spices, loamy soil and violets. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, with lively acids and a youthfully firm, typically Listrac finish, it will reward a little patience with real depth and plentitude.
