A vibrant maple syrup hue with a slightly green rim, this delightful and wildly well-priced fortified smells like Cow Tales candy, a toffee and cream combo that swirls with heady notes of dried tangerine and brown sugar backed by smoky and vaguely mineral nuance. The palate is as unctuous and sticky as you’d expect. The alcohol adds heat and lift. This would be a knockout with a citrus and custard dessert like an orange flan.
