This is also markedly floral in character with its slightly riper array of white orchard fruit and softly floral-suffused aromas that flirt with exoticism, in particular white peach and dried apricot. The rich and very generous, even borderline opulent, flavors also brim with sappy dry extract that buffers the firm acid spine shaping the strikingly long and highly complex finale. I suspect that this will turn honeyed in time, much in the way that the '89s did at around age 10. Either way, this is excellent and a wine that should drink well young and with extended aging.
