Wine Advocate: 93 Points

This is a blend of two native Piedmont grapes, and fruit comes from Ginestra (Vigna Sopra in Ciabot Mentin). The Domenico Clerico 2022 Langhe Arte is Barbera and Nebbiolo, and in this vintage, each grape represents 50% of the blend. Barbera is given a bigger role in 2022 in an effort to add more power and structure to this wine. It shows good balance and focus with sweet oak and rich blackberry fruit. Arte is 100% aged in oak with at least 70% new oak, and you can expect spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The alcohol content is high at 15%. Production is 6,000 bottles
