Anthilia 2020 has a yellow straw color. The nose presents a fresh and fruity bouquet with notes of white-fleshed fruits (peach) combined with scents of wildflowers. On the palate we continue to find the evident fruity notes accompanied by a refreshing sapidity and ended by a good persistence.
The Donnafugata 2020 Sicilia Anthìlia is mostly Catarratto (that also goes by the name Lucido) blended with a small percentage of other complementary white grapes. This is a silky and streamlined wine, with floral notes of peach blossom and honeysuckle backed by some wild sage and crushed stone. Production is very large with 800,000 bottles made.
