This delicious red shows exotic plum-based fruits, warm mulling spices and dark earthiness on the nose. It follows through to a silky, full-bodied palate, with very fine, fruit-coated tannins and a long finish that coats the mouth! This is very nicely done, with lots of clean, spicy fruit character and layers of glycerin and earth. Quintarelli declassified his Amarone to this red in 2016. It is gregarious and drinkable now but will age wonderfully!
