Generous wood treatment stops just short of fighting with the ripe and fresh aromas of hazelnut, poached pear, acacia blossom and a whiff of spice. The supple and wonderfully seductively textured medium weight flavors possess a sappy mouthfeel along with a suggestion of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the lingering, balanced and sneaky long finish. This could also use better depth so a few years of keeping should prove beneficial. Worth a look provided you're willing to cellar if for a few years first.
