Julien’s Reserve Cabernet is crafted from multiple hillside vineyards spanning Napa Valley from north to south. Powerful and supple, this focused wine offers immense enjoyment in its youth, but also has the structure and personality to evolve with grace in the cellar. The nose is dark and aromatic with juicy berries, coffee, and a touch of toasted brioche. In the mouth, the wine reveals its luminous purple fruit core, bright with sustained notes of plum and huckleberry, with spicy edges and a mid-palate burst of espresso with lemon zest. Soft, well-tailored tannins offer wonderful texture, while the lingering finish brings haunting notes of blackcurrant and mint tea.
