The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is darkly seductive, with an intense blend of dried black cherries, incense, cedar and ash lifted by hints of fresh mint. This is surprisingly fresh and vibrant on the palate, with juicy red and black fruits that swirl across a stream of zesty acidity as sweet tannins form toward the close. Violet pastille comes together with blackberries and hints of graphite through the long and classically structured finale. In a word, fantastic. The 2021 remains lively and spry throughout yet still complex and refined, all at just 13% abv. Well done.
