Tasted as a sample that was ready to be bottled in June 2021, the 2020 Ried Supperin Grüner Veltliner is ripe yet also refined and mineral on the nose. Quite lactic on the palate, this is a round and juicy, finely salty and mineral GV with fine grip. 12% alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in June 2021.

A very spicy gruner veltliner with unusually racy and mineral acidity for this grape. Still a bit nervous as a result, but with impressive concentration, this needs some time in bottle, but has a lot of drive at the wet-stone finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2023.
