The 2020 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is a new wine in this range. It shows good energy and delineation, but the mid-palate feels a bit light. Among other things, that tends to obscure some site character. Even so, this is an impressive debut and certainly a very good start for a Chardonnay from Santa Barbara's most iconic vineyard.
