The 2019 Samantha's shines with noble Cabernet qualities in a medium-bodied classic rendition that delivers the goods in spades. Wild herb aromatics are laced with blackberry fruit, dusty minerals and cedar. Blackberry fruit, cassis, and graphite flavours abound. Firm beams of cedary tannins are framed by compelling acidity. The finish is marked by chocolate shavings and a spicy capsicum note.

 A lovely and soft pure cabernet with currants, hints of cedar, dust, hints of mint, and cherry. Medium to full body, creamy and delicious already. Fruit with tile and dust. Linear and fine tannins. Drink or hold.

Wine Spectator: 93 Points

Ripe and focused, with subtle underlying energy to the mix of cassis, blackberry and sweet bay leaf notes, which roll through steadily. Picks up singed alder accents on the finish. Solid.
