Our Pinot Noir from the LS Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills is as classic a wine as we could produce. The LS Vineyard, named for Master Sommelier Larry Stone sits on the Lingua Franca Estate in Oregon’s coolest sub-AVA of the Willamette Valley. Our first vintage from LS was in 2017, now working on our 5th vintage from this incredible site. This wine is always a multi-block selection from the vineyard & made in a combination of vessels: concrete, French oak puncheon and oak fermenters. This varied vessel fermentation, along with the roughly 20% whole cluster inclusion allows us to create a layered, diversely textured wine with freshness and fruit that last.

2017 was a cool vintage, so this wine naturally takes on more old world stylistic elements - earth, structure, tighter tannin - but with decent air time, explodes with spice, fruit and vibrancy. A multi-block selection from the LS Vineyard, containing roughly 22% whole cluster bunches. Fermented in a combination of concrete, puncheon and large oak fermentors.
