Crushed blackberries, dried herbs, spices and flowers. A round yet fleshy and juicy delivery of malbec and bonarda, delivering richness as well as drinkability. Pretty long, too. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Bonarda - Malbec Tikal Patriota is a 60/40 blend from La Consulta, Uco Valley. Purple in hue. The nose offers notes of raspberry and blackberry with a hint of herbs and faint aromas from the aging process. Quite smooth and expansive on the palate with mild freshness, fruity flavors gather at the back of the mouth followed by oak aromas right at the end. An accomplished wine.
