The 2021 'South Blocks Pinot Noir’ hails from our now 7-year old biodynamically farmed estate vineyard. This wine is composed of all 12 of our uniquely different sections to the estate vineyard in order to showcase the full peacocks tail of aromas, flavors and textures. The first impression is one of salted blueberries, sassafras, dark cherries and a lingering dark chocolate finish that's so unique. It's the salted minerality part to this wine that elongates the finish with lingering flavors of bittersweet chocolate, plum juice, and red currants creating such a savory delight. This wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Estate South Blocks wafts up with crushed chalk and rose petals, giving way to dried strawberries. This is soothingly round and supple, with ripe red and blue fruits swirling as sweet herbal tones and licorice hints amass toward the close. It finishes lightly tannic and classically dry, leaving a mineral tinge and cheek-puckering hints of sour citrus.
