Born is the famous label of Kato Kichibee Shoten Brewery in the Fukui prefecture. It is not carbon-filtered, giving Born Gold lively aromas of apple and pear and a round mouthfeel. It is crafted from Yamada Nishiki rice sourced through local farmers and is aged at 14°F for a year. Enjoy in a wine glass with a large bowl and pair with Chicken Paillard, Pork Tenderloin, or Avocado Toast.
Recommended Serving Temperature: 40°-50°F, 65°-75°F, or 95°-105°
This Muroka Junmai Daiginjois stored unpasturized in -10 degrees Celcius after brewing, and is pasturized only once immediately before shipping. The absense of carbon filtration (aka, Muroka) leads to a large presence of flavor and a lively aroma.
