Arnaud Margaine has nearly 7 hectares of vines in the village of Villers-Marmery in the Montagne de Reims. This is significant because Villers-Marmery is known for Chardonnay, while the Montagne de Reims landscape is dominated by Pinot Noir and Meunier. After taking over the estate from his father in 1989, Arnaud began revitalizing the soils by abandoning chemical herbicide use and planting cover crops.
