Lovely forward red berry fruit and a supple elegance. On the palate, there is a winningly silky texture. Although the wine is approachable and straightforward, it is nonetheless a wine of balance and charm. Coche crafts his Bourgogne Rouge from several parcels that surround the domaine. The fruit is mostly destemmed and fermented briefly before cask ageing.

Bursting with aromas of raspberries, plums, woodsmoke and sweet spices, the 2019 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium to full-bodied, lively and nicely concentrated, with powdery tannins and a pretty core of fruit.
