In the idyllic landscape of Niigata prefecture, surrounded by rice fields, forests, and mountains, the Asahi-Shuzo Brewery uses Gohyakumangoku rice to produce Kubota Senjyu Junmai Gingo. It is a light sake with aromas of steamed rice, pear, and granny smith apples. It is a versatile sake that can be enjoyed at various temperatures, and whichever temperature you choose, you will enjoy a crisp and tart finish. This is a great sake to pair with a Garden Salad or Asparagus and Shrimp Fettuccini with Basil Alfredo.
