Katsuyama brewery in Miyagi prefecture, established in 1688, has long provided high-end sake for the nobility. The Ken Junmai Ginjo is worthy of its heritage. This is an elegant sake made from Yamada Nishiki rice with clean nose and smooth drinkability. The earthy, rice flavors expand into a soft and supple fullness. It is dry with slight crispness that gives way to a round finish. Pair with delicate seafood or lightly seasoned seared chicken.
